Unconditionally and unquestioningly recommended! Easily the best haircut that I've had...ummm...ever. Yes, ever.
Let me start by saying that I don't have hard to cut hair or any special needs but I've never been able to get a good haircut. I've tried the gamut of girly salons, corner barbershops, "mens salons" and can confidently say that Tao beats them all.
Doug took the time to understand my needs and expertly gave me a maintainable haircut
and beard line. No fuss, just a simple great cut. Doug's got it right - online scheduling,
good service and a good price.

Doug is my favorite barber in the city, and the only place that I will get my hair cut. Thats because unlike many people in the profession, he really takes pride in his work--clipping and snipping away with great precision. This may not seem the case because he manages to make great conversation, but don't let that fool you; he is always intensely focused on giving you exactly the haircut you expect.
The new location has the same feel as the old one, but there is more of a small-town vibe.
A peaceful, friendly oasis in our beautiful city. Come in and get your hair did! You won't
be let down.

Doug just cut my hair for the second time and it was once again such a fabulous experience and great haircut. It can be difficult to find someone who takes the time to cut hair properly that will grow in well too, but after getting my first haircut at Tao, I never thought about going anywhere else! Best of luck to Tao.
